A Dominican man fatally shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself after seeing a picture of her with another man on a popular social media site.
According to police in the Dominican Republic, Valentin Nuñez Luciano shot his wife, Marleni Suero Amador, after discovering a photo on Facebook showing Suero Amador with another man.
The murder-suicide took place in a motel in the Cristo Rey district of the Dominican capital of Santo Domingo. Their bodies were found in the motel in the alley "of the Chancleta,” Dominican national police said.
Valentín used a 9mm Bersa pistol to kill his wife and then himself as police found the weapon and casings at the scene.

Reports surfaced that the young Serum Amador was abused by her spouse, a situation that worsened after Nuñez's discovery of the photo of his wife in the company of a man during a visit to the La Victoria prison.
