Emergency personnel in Texas responded to a report of at least two cars trapped in a massive sink hole in Sunday night.
According to Fox San Antonio, police and emergency crews were called to a water rescue in San Antonio at around 7:30 p.m. Authorities estimated the sink hole to be about 20-feet deep and it took up the width of the road.
Two people who saw the second car dive into the sink hole helped rescue a 60-year-old man from the vehicle. Another woman was injured and transported to a local hospital. The extent of her injuries was unclear.
The station reported that emergency crews had been in the area due to a report of a massive sewage leak. However, they weren’t sure whether the leak caused the sink hole or the sink hole caused the leak.
It’s unclear if there was anyone still in the first vehicle. Authorities were working to get the vehicles out of the hole.
