Authorities in Pennsylvania say the deaths of a teenage boy and girl near a lake appear to be a double suicide.

Police say the bodies of the high school students were found in a car late Monday afternoon near a boat ramp at Rose Valley Lake, about 80 miles north of the state capital of Harrisburg.

State police say a handgun was found.

The county coroner says the deaths appear to have been self-inflicted but didn't release other details. He said the names will not be released because the two are juveniles and because of the circumstances.

The Williamsport Area School District said the boy was a junior and the girl was a senior but also didn't disclose their names.
