Authorities say that a woman's body was found inside an SUV in North Carolina that had a note on it warning that the vehicle had deadly cyanide salts inside.

News outlets report that a hazardous material team responded shortly before midnight Monday to a grocery store parking lot in the Moore County town of Aberdeen.

The parking lot was cleared and team members wearing protective gear determined that the air around and inside the SUV was safe.

The woman's name was not immediately released, although officials say she was a 44-year-old resident of the community of Southern Pines.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine how she died.
