A trolley filled with wedding guests flipped on its side on a highway in Delware Saturday and paramedics rushed at least 12 people to nearby hospitals, local media reported.
The specific cause of the crash was unclear, but investigators said strong winds may have played a role. The vehicle, operated by a company named Jolly Trolley, started rocking before it overturned south of Dewey Beach, police told CBS News.
The trolley had 22 people on board, WCAU added.
All of the passengers were expected to survive. The crash unfolded around 4:40 p.m. on southbound Coastal Highway, state police said.
Police closed parts of Coastal Highway for hours as they investigated.
A man who answered the phone at Jolly Trolley told WCAU the company had no comment.
