Amid an investigation into the destruction of evidence at one Houston-area constable's office, an ongoing audit has determined there might be criminal evidence missing at another local constable's office.

Harris County District Attorney's Office spokesman Jeff McShan says the office was notified that a county audit found there might be missing evidence with the Harris County Precinct 7 Constable's Office.

But Precinct 7 Constable May Walker said Friday that all evidence in her property room has been accounted for and auditors will return on Monday to follow up their initial July visit.

The concern over operations at Walker's agency comes as the DA's office continues investigating the destruction by a deputy constable with the county's Precinct 4 Constable's Office of thousands of pieces of evidence in Houston-area cases.
