CONCORD, N.H. – Attorneys for the winner of a $487 million Powerball jackpot are announcing the winner's philanthropic plans for the money.
The winning ticket for the July 30 drawing was sold at a supermarket in Raymond, New Hampshire, a town of about 10,000 residents.
The New Hampshire Lottery says attorneys will come forward on Monday. It's unclear if the winner will make an appearance.
It's the eighth largest U.S. lottery jackpot. The lump sum option is worth $330.6 million.
Tickets are sold in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
