BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Latest on the Birmingham shooting that left one person killed and five others wounded (all times local):

Police say a teenager and the driver of a red Ford Mustang engaged in a gun battle after a peace rally that left one person dead and five other people wounded.
Birmingham police Lt. Sean Edwards said in an update on the case that witnesses said one of the shooting victims, a teenager, had opened fire on the man driving the Mustang Sunday evening.
Edwards said the teen and the driver than began shooting at each other, and the driver of the Mustang "recklessly returned fire" and shot several bystanders in the area.
Police said the teenager and the driver had a previous dispute with one another.
Police identified the man killed as 20-year-old Bobby Clayton of Birmingham.
No charges had been filed by early Monday afternoon.

Police in Alabama say six people were shot, one fatally, after a peace rally at a public housing community.
According to AL.com (http://bit.ly/2cx51i4), police say the shooting happened at 8:25 p.m. Sunday at Gate City in Birmingham.
Birmingham police spokesman Sgt. Bryan Shelton says that all six victims were innocent bystanders. The condition of the other five victims was not immediately available.
Police say the shootings took place about an hour after the peace rally ended in the community's Lewis Park.
Police are investigating. Details about suspects and a motive were not immediately available.
