Looks like a road worker needed to go back to school.

A crew painting school zone signs on the street outside a central Florida high school misspelled "school," printing "scohol" instead.

Drivers snapped photos of the mistake and tweeted them out over the weekend before workers could correct the embarrassing error.

It all happened before the start of the new semester at Pine Ridge High School in Deltona. The school is roughly 45 minutes northeast of Orlando.

Classes were set to begin on Aug. 15.

There was no immediate response from officials in Volusia County or the school itself.
