A New Jersey Transit bus has rear-ended another New Jersey Transit bus inside the Lincoln Tunnel heading to New York, leading to delays.

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey spokesman Steve Coleman says that delays of up to two hours were being reported after the accident.

He says that the driver of one of the buses was taken to a hospital, and 14 of the 103 passengers were treated at the scene for not serious injuries.

NJ Transit spokesman Jim Smith said the route 114 bus hit the route 190 bus around 7:30 a.m. Monday.

The center tube reopened after being closed Monday morning, but long delays remained.

NJ Transit buses were subject to delays of up to 45 minutes due to the accident.
