A father and son could face the death penalty if convicted of abducting and killing a Utah rail-line worker while on the run from police after allegedly tying up five women in a basement.
Wyoming prosecutor Spencer Allred declined to say whether he'll seek capital punishment in the murder and kidnapping case filed against Flint and Dereck Harrison on Tuesday.
Authorities say the men were hiding out near where 63-year-old victim Kay Ricks was working on Salt Lake City's light-rail system. Prosecutors say they grabbed him during his May 12 shift and drove him in his transit authority truck to Wyoming, where they pulled off the road and beat him to death.
Two men were arrested after a dayslong manhunt and are being held on kidnapping and other charges in Utah.

Wyoming prosecutors say a father and son on the run from police after tying up five women in a basement abducted and killed a Utah rail worker.
The Lincoln County Attorney's Office charged Flint Wayne Harrison and his son, Dereck James "DJ" Harrison, with first-degree murder and kidnapping Tuesday.
A police statement says an autopsy determined that 63-year-old Kay Porter Ricks died of blows to the head.
Ricks vanished during his May 12 shift maintaining Salt Lake City's light rail system. Police say the Harrisons were hiding out close to where Ricks was working after restraining a woman and her four teenage daughters.
Authorities say they later found Ricks' body along the route the Harrisons likely took to flee to Wyoming. His truck was found near their remote campsite.
