Hundreds continue to attend public memorial services for the victims of the Pulse shooting.

On Friday night, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce held an Orlando vigil in Spanish for family and community members who felt more comfortable expressing themselves in that language.

The Orlando Sentinel reports (http://bit.ly/28ULnJX ) that hundreds attended the event, including 10 people injured in the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013. Orlando Police Chief John Mina told the crowd that his officers are "committed to your safety at risk to their own lives."

The Herald Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/28ZEgTa) that some of the 250 people at Saturday's service for Edward M. Sotomayor Jr. of Sarasota wore top hats and signed top hat-shaped posters in his honor. Sotomayor, 35, was a travel agent who worked for a company that held gay cruises.
