Attorneys for two men named suspects in a cookout shooting that killed five adults and an unborn child near Pittsburgh say the two have been wrongly jailed on stale, unrelated charges to squeeze them for information.

Attorneys Randall McKinney and Casey White represent Cheron Shelton and Robert Thomas. Detectives have called both men suspects in the March 9 ambush in Wilkinsburg but have yet to charge either.

On Monday, White tried to get Thomas' bond reduced so he can get out of jail on charges stemming from a 2013 drug raid.

Shelton is jailed in the same case, but his attorney was in court fighting prosecutor's efforts to get him kicked off Shelton's case.

Monday's hearings were delayed until another judge is assigned.
