At least 11 people were injured after a bus and an SUV collided near a Disney World park in central Florida Saturday, authorities said.

The bus crash occurred at about 6 p.m. near Disney's Animal Kingdom in Orlando. The Florida Highway Patrol said that the SUV was going the wrong way and crashed head-on with the bus, which was carrying 16 people.

Both the bus and the woman’s vehicle caught fire and sent plumes of smoke into the sky.

Authorities said two adults and one child from the SUV were transported to a local hospital. The Orlando Sentinel reported that eight bus passengers were taken to Florida Celebration Health with minor injuries.

Troopers are investigating why the woman was driving on the wrong side of the road. The paper reported that no charges were filed Saturday.
