An 88-year-old man died early Tuesday on an Aeromexico flight from Chicago to Mexico, diverting the plane to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport where the Boeing 737 was greeted by emergency personnel.

The Houston Chronicle reported that the man who died on the flight had a history of heart ailments. The paper reported that there was a doctor on board the flight, but was unable to resuscitate him.

The man was traveling with his family at the time.
