Less than two weeks until the first votes in the race for the White House. Iowa votes on February 1st in their caucuses. After that it’s New Hampshire’s primary on February 9th.


The big news on the GOP side is the stepped up war of words between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz.. they are numbers 1 and 2 in the polling from Iowa. Ted Cruz had been avoiding attacking Trump directly, but has finally started doing so after weeks of attacks on him by Trump.


Sarah Palin endorsed Trump at a campaign event yesterday.

That CNN/WMUR poll shows Hillary Clinton being handily eclipsed by Sanders in New Hampshire. Sanders beats Clinton by 27 points!

Michigan Governor Snyder is apologizing for the water crisis in Flint, Michigan. Some residents there have gotten sick since the water source was switched to the Flint River. The federal government now helping people there get access to clean water.


There was a horrific terror attack on a university in Pakistan. At least 22 were killed. The terrorists were killed before they were able to explode suicide vests. The Taliban is claiming responsibility.


ISIS has destroyed the oldest Christian monastery in Iraq. It was 1400 years old.
