A second man from New York has been identified as one of six American soldiers killed in a suicide attack in Afghanistan.

The family of 31-year-old Louis Bonacasa, of Long Island, confirmed his death to Newsday (http://nwsdy.li/1Jt2Nq1) on Tuesday.

Bonacasa was a staff sergeant with the Air National Guard and was serving his fourth military tour when he was killed Monday by an attacker who rammed an explosives-laden motorcycle into his patrol.

He leaves behind a wife and 5-year-old daughter.

His brother, Vincent Bonacasa, called him a "humble man who took pride in what he did."

The other New York victim was identified as New York City police detective Joseph Lemm. He was on his third tour of duty in the Middle East with the National Guard.
