Authorities in a small west Georgia town are investigating a shooting at a crowded bar that left 10 people wounded.

Meriwether County Sheriff Chuck Smith said Monday the victims ranged in age from 16 to 29. He said they were shot in their arms, legs, feet and shoulder areas, and that one was grazed in the head.

Smith said they were treated at hospitals in Columbus, Newnan and LaGrange, but that none of the injuries are life-threatening.

Smith said the gunfire happened early Sunday morning at Hill Haven Event Center in of Greenville, about 60 miles southwest of Atlanta.

The sheriff said an argument over illegal gambling in a back part of the bar led to several suspects pulling out handguns and firing.

There were no immediate arrests.
