West Virginia State Police say a high school has been evacuated after a report of someone with a gun inside the school.

State Police spokesman Lt. Michael Baylous said Tuesday that students were safe and were waiting outside the school to be removed from the property on buses.

Baylous says he has no details or description of the suspect, saying it was someone believed to have a gun. He didn't know whether anyone else inside the school was involved.

Baylous says the suspect was isolated inside the school, and law enforcement officers are working toward taking the suspect into custody.

No injuries were reported.
