LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Three teenagers sought for questioning in the fatal shooting of an Arkansas couple are on their way back to the state.
The teenagers were detained by Graham, Texas, police on Thursday. Jim Budarf, chief deputy of the Young County, Texas, Sheriff's Department says the teens were released late Monday afternoon to representatives of the Faulkner County, Arkansas, Sheriff's Department.
Conway Police spokeswoman LaTresha Woodruff says the department has no pending charges against the teens whose names "came up" during the investigation into the fatal shooting of Robert and Patricia Cogdell. The couple was found dead Wednesday behind their home, about 35 miles north of Little Rock.
The couple's 14-year-old grandson, who lived with them, was arrested Thursday. He is being held without bond on two possible counts of capital murder.
