TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The National Guard Armory in Tallahassee has been evacuated after a man who'd been taken into custody told authorities he had planted a bomb inside.
Police spokesman Justin Phillips said in an email that police responded to an incident near the armory on Tuesday morning. The man made the comment about the bomb after he was taken into custody.
Police were still searching the building Tuesday morning. The Florida National Guard Joint Operations Center is monitoring the situation.
No further details were immediately available.
