The National Right to Life Convention is underway today IN New Orleans with appearances by Rubio, Bush, Perry and others running for President as Republicans. Carl Cameron reporting.

New reporting suggests Jeb Bush has raised some 114 million dollars already for 2016. That’s much more than any other GOP candidate. Hillary Clinton has raised $45 million.

Hillary Clinton hitting Jeb Bush hard over comments he made in an interview with a newspaper in New Hampshire. He said that “people need to work longer hours,” to help the economy. But he says he meant that Americans working only part-time should be able to get full time work.  

Hillary Clinton tweeted,  "Anyone who believes Americans aren't working hard enough hasn't met enough American workers."

Looking for a good day on Wall Street as Greece appears ready to offer big concessions to get a new bailout and avoid being kicked out of the EU currency zone, and China continues to prop up stocks.

Greece has offered the EU a deal that would see tax increases and pension cuts. Those are two of the key demands the EU has been making for months.

The Office of Personnel and Management hack is even worse than we thought. Hackers stole the information of more than 21 million people. The head of the OPM is refusing calls for her resignation over lax security. The Chinese are thought to be to blame. Another data breach at OPM we learned about in June said more than 4 million people had their social security numbers stolen.

At 10am, the Confederate flag will be pulled from the South Carolina government grounds. Governor Nikki Haley signed a just-passed measure to retire the flag yesterday. It comes in response to the murders of nine at a Charleston African-American church by a racist murderer.

New York City is holding a ticket tape parade and news conference today to celebrate the U.S. women’s soccer team that won the World Cup. Rick Leventhal reporting.

There’s a news conference today at 1pm from the San Francisco sheriff’s office. It comes as criticism mounts over San Francisco’s sanctuary city status. Kate Steinle was shot and killed in a tourist area of San Francisco allegedly by an illegal immigrant who had been deported several times. Claudia Cowan reporting.

The defense is expected to wrap its case today in the mass murder trial of Aurora theater gunman James Holmes. Closing arguments expected next week. Alicia Acuna reporting.
