Two people were found shot to death Thursday morning in a Florida home where five children were discovered unharmed, police said.

Bradenton police are still working to confirm if the two victims are the children’s parents and haven’t yet released the names of the dead.

The children, ages 1 through 11, were with family members, detectives, victims advocates and child protective services as of 8:40 a.m. Thursday and were to be released to family members after interviews were completed, a Bradenton Police information officer told FoxNews.com.

One of the children saw four or five masked intruders in the house, police said, but no further details of the suspects were available.

Police said they have responded to “several calls” at the Southern Parkway home over the past several years. Police could not verify the exact nature of the calls, but said they were non-violent and not drug-related.
