A second snake has been seized from a San Diego man who had a python around his neck when he was arrested a week ago on suspicion of driving his pedicab while drunk.

The Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday (http://lat.ms/1rnTKkk) that 27-year-old Travis Eisner-Young was arrested while driving his pedicab Sept. 16. When police found him, he had a ball python around his neck.

After learning that Eisner-Young had at least one more snake, Animal Services personnel went to his hotel room and found a boa constrictor. Animal Services deputy director Daniel DeSousa says the snake was in poor condition.

The boa constrictor and the ball python are now at a veterinary hospital that specializes in exotic animals.

Officials say the python was found to be suffering from dehydration, anemia and starvation.

No phone listing for Eisner-Young was found.
