A 13-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was shot Friday evening on his way to choir practice.
When Boston police arrived, they found the teen laying in the street with a gunshot wound.
The boy was taken to Boston Medical Center and was in critical condition.
A Fox 25 photographer at the scene said officers from the Boston Police gang unit were going door-to-door in the neighborhood looking for information.
Police said they believe the shooter may have been in a gray car.
An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Boston Police.
