Originally named the Freedom Tower, the new One World Trade Center is scheduled to open in 2014 on the northwest corner of the site with three million square feet of office space.

A spire to be placed atop the 104-story skyscraper will bring it to a symbolic height of 1,776 feet.  The building without the spire has already been built to its height of 1,368 feet. Observations decks for the public will be on the 100th thru 102nd floors.

One World Trade Center is expected to cost $3.9 billion by the time it is finished.
