Two maintenance employees at a New Jersey elementary school have been suspended after allegedly binding and gagging students in a bathroom, MyFoxNY.com reports.

The employees of Gregory Elementary School in Long Branch, New Jersey reportedly tied four 10-year-old boys up with caution tape in a bathroom at the school. They then took photos of the boys.

The boys then reportedly told their teacher of the incident, who immediately reported it to the school principal.

In a statement to local newspaper The Link, the superintendent of the district, Michael Salvatore, said police and county prosecuters were investigating the incident.

“After the reports and the review of our security cameras revealed the possibility that the incident took place, parents were notified, as well as, the proper authorities," Salvatore said.
