A one-year-old Texas girl died Tuesday after she was left in a pickup truck while the outside temperatures soared to 100 degrees, MyFoxAustin.com reported.
Austin police responded to an unresponsive child inside the black truck in a parking lot Tuesday afternoon. Paramedics were called to the scene and performed CPR on the girl until she was brought to Dell Children’s Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, an Austin police spokeswoman told FoxNews.com.
A police investigation is ongoing. At this point, it is unclear how long the girl was left in the car.
