DETROIT -- A fourth member of a Midwest militia has been released from jail until trial on conspiracy and other charges.

Kristopher Sickles of Sandusky, Ohio, will be electronically monitored 24 hours a day. He was released Wednesday after appearing in federal court in Detroit.

Three other members of the Michigan-based militia were released Tuesday. All had been locked up since late March.

Prosecutors have charged nine members with conspiring to commit sedition. The U.S. attorney's office had opposed the release of any of the nine but now says it's satisfied that restrictions placed on the four will ensure the public's safety.

Sickles' wife will serve as his custodian. He can go to court, work, church and medical appointments.
