Get your name off Google

Q. A Google search for my name brings up a few posts I don't want people to see. What can I do?

A. Your best bet is to ask the people who own the posts to take them down (or you can take them down if you posted them). They'll eventually disappear from Google. If the posts meet certain reputation-damaging criteria, you can submit a request to Google to remove the search-result links. Find out how to do that, and more on cleaning up your Google search reputation.

Q. It's getting harder to read the tiny text on websites. How can I make them more readable?

A. To zoom text and images in any browser, just hold CTRL (On a Macintosh, hold COMMAND) and press the plus key (+) to zoom in. Hit plus a few times to zoom in even further. Too far? Hold CTRL and press the minus key (-) to zoom back out. CTRL and the zero key (0) resets the zoom level. Click here to learn six more handy browser tricks that make your online life easier.
