The Donk, at $20G, Tops List of Bizarre Products Sold Through Amazon.com

Tuesday, January 29, 2008

Got $20,000 burning a hole in your pocket?

Consider buying a Donk.

Modeled after the Star Wars sailing barge that carried Jabba the Hutt, this cool five-passenger personal tank looks like a hovercraft, but actually rides low on four wheels concealed by a rubberized skirt.

Under the hood is a 6 horsepower gasoline engine capable of moving The Donk at speeds up to 40 mph.

But, before you start dreaming about 'Donking" around town, the vehicle is designed for recreational use only, and will not pass state inspections.

Where can you buy The Donk?

Amazon.com is offering it for a cool $19,999.95. But the Donk's not the only oddball product you can find online.

According to The List Universe, among the 10 most bizarre products you can find at the Web mart:

— Wolf urine: no description necessary

— Stop Eating Poop cream, aimed at training your dog to, well, stop eating... you know

— Dr. John's Famous Pee Pee, described as a way to trip up urine tests

— Uranium. Yes, a can of real uranium. List price: $29.95
