Manchester United fans, rejoice: The Zlatan Ibrahimovic Era is here. Despite everyone already knowing it was a done deal, the Red Devils announced the signing of the Swedish star on Friday in grand fashion on Twitter.

First, they dropped an ominous video on Twitter, with Zlatan emerging from a cloud of smoke and declaring "It's Zlatan time."

They then followed that up with a press release, where Zlatan and new United manager Jose Mourinho expressed how excited they are to work with each other. Their love affair, of course, has been well documented.

After that, the celebration continued with the club instructing their fans to prepare for fireworks.

Is it all a bit much for a 34-year-old striker well into the twilight of his career? Probably. But this is Zlatan Ibrahimovic we're talking about here. If there's anybody that defies not only age, but also convention, it's Ibra.

Enjoy the day, United fans! The party is just getting started ... it's Zlatan time.
