Former University of Kentucky forward Marcus Lee verbally committed to Cal on Saturday, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
Last month, the 6-foot-9, 224-pound Lee announced his plans to transfer from Kentucky after withdrawing from the NBA Draft. Wildcats coach John Calipari said Lee intended to go west in order to be closer to his family.
According to the Chronicle, Lee committed to the Cal Bears over Washington, which he also visited.
