Liverpool are going to be wearing a very simple and classic home kit next season. It's a red kit (of course) with the Standard Chartered sponsor in gold and a few gold accents. Toss in red shorts and you have the most straightforward Liverpool kit possible.
But how do we have the kit so early? You can thank New Balance for it.
The Liverpool kit manufacturer's United States website accidentally posted the kits on Thursday. They quickly pulled the merchandise and any images related to the new kit, but This Is Anfield had already grabbed a screenshot of it.
The new kit is set to be released in May, but now we know what it will look like. And it's a good-gooking kit. The only part of it that could offend is the odd one-button on the collar, but that is nit picking.
You made a nice kit, New Balance. Be happy about that, even if the rollout was ruined by the one person who clicked to put it on your website. Remember that while Liverpool yell at you.
