MILAN --

Juventus continued its march toward a fifth successive Serie A title as it beat relegation-threatened Palermo 4-0 to move nine points clear on Sunday.

Sami Khedira gave Juventus the lead in the 10th minute but Palermo kept pushing for an equalizer before Paul Pogba and Juan Cuadrado sealed the result shortly after the 70th minute. Simone Padoin added a fourth late on.

Second-placed Napoli lost 2-0 at Inter Milan Saturday. There are five rounds left.

The only negative note for Juventus was an injury picked up by Claudio Marchisio who was stretchered off in the 15th with a knee injury. There are fears the Italy midfielder could miss the European Championship.

Earlier, third-place Roma missed the chance to close the gap to Napoli to three points as it drew 3-3 at Atalanta.
