Los Angeles Clippers shooting guard J.J. Redick has been the human equivalent of the flames emoji this season.

No, he can't match Stephen Curry's volume or ability to shoot off the dribble. But between the two, Redick has been the more efficient 3-pointer shooter this season.

In fact, he's been the best shooter this season. Period.

Redick leads the league in 3-point percentage, shooting 50 percent (103 of 206). He's been an invaluable part of the Clippers' fourth-ranked offense, most notably on Monday night, when he scored a career-high 40 points (knocking down a career-high nine 3-pointers) in the Clippers' 140-132 overtime win over the Houston Rockets.

Check out Redick's special night below:

Despite the increased attention he's getting with Blake Griffin out, Redick continues to find ways to torch defenses. He's averaging 20.2 points and shooting 58.6 percent on 3s over the past 11 Griffin-less games, and has to be considered the second-most important Clipper behind Chris Paul right now.
