Fresh off another National Championship victory, Alabama head coach Nick Saban went right back to work toward capturing the title in 2016. Next on his agenda, land a couple elite prospects that can come in and play immediate next season. Which brings Saban to the home of Mecole Hardman Jr.

Rated as a five-star prospect and the No. 1 athlete in the country by 247Sports, Hardman is talented enough to play cornerback or receiver, or both, at the next level. His relationship with new Crimson Tide defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt has Hardman currently giving the defending champions a hard look, meanwhile Tennessee and in-state Georgia are both in pursuit of his signature.

Whatever Saban said during the in-home visit must have worked, as Hardman cancelled his official visit with TCU and will instead visit Tuscaloosa the weekend of Jan. 22.

It's good to be the champs.
