DALLAS (AP) Dallas guard Deron Williams has left the Mavericks' game against New Orleans with left hamstring tightness.

Williams was playing for the second straight game Saturday night after missing four with a left hamstring strain. He also missed time in the preseason with hamstring issues.

Williams left the game with 1:11 remaining in the third quarter.

J.J. Barea started for the sixth straight game since Williams' original injury. Williams came off the bench for the second straight night. Dallas was backing a back-to-back after losing in Miami.

Williams had 11 points, three assists and four turnovers in 21 minutes before leaving against the Pelicans.
