Tennessee lost one of its best assistant coaches Tuesday, as special teams coordinator and tight ends coach Mark Elder left to become the head coach at Eastern Kentucky. Head coach Butch Jones alluded to a potential shakeup amongst the staff Monday, so what actions are likely to take place?

One area the team was lacking in 2015 was at quarterback coach, not that the team got bad results from that position, but fact is the team did not have an assistant serving in that capacity full time last season.

Where will Jones look to find that void? Interestingly enough, he may not have to look far:

Sheridan has three years of quarterback coaching at South Florida and Western Kentucky before arriving in Knoxville last season. Sheridan played quarterback at Michigan and his father is linebackers coach for the Detroit Lions.

With speculation that wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni and defensive back Willie Martinez may be moving on to coordinator roles, the shakeup may only just be beginning for Tennessee.
