WATCH: Highlights from Xavier's 97-77 exhibition win over Northwood

Edmond Sumner, who started at the point guard position, led Xavier with 17 points in the Musketeers' 97-77 win over Norwood University (Michigan) on Saturday afternoon at the Cintas Center.

The Musketeers, who went with a smaller lineup, had five players score in double figures. Starters Trevon Bluiett and Remy Abell had 14 points, as did J.P. Macura, who came off the bench for 18 minutes of action. Larry Austin Jr., another player vying for minutes at point guard, scored 12.

This is the only exhibition for Xavier, who opens the regular season against Miami (Ohio) on Friday.
