LONDON (AP) Manchester United and Manchester City played out a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday, while Tottenham surged to a big victory at Bournemouth.

United went closest to winning against City when substitute Jesse Lingard turned a high ball from Anthony Martial onto the crossbar before Chris Smalling had a low shot saved by Joe Hart.

Harry Kane scored a hat trick as Tottenham came from behind to thrash Bournemouth 5-1.

Matt Ritchie put Bournemouth ahead after 49 seconds before Kane leveled with a penalty. Mousa Dembele and Erik Lamela also scored for Tottenham.

Sunderland got its first win of the season with a 3-0 victory against fierce rival Newcastle.

In Sunday's late match, Liverpool plays Southampton in Juergen Klopp's first Premier League fixture at Anfield.
