TUCSON, Ariz. -- A capacity crowd of 14,655 created an electric environment to the Red team's 49-41 win over Blue in the 2015 McDonald's Red-Blue game.

The crowd was brought to their feet multiple times during the slam dunk competition prior to the scrimmage. Senior newcomer Mark Tollefsen defeated a field of Justin Simon, Ray Smith and Chance Comanche to win the title thanks to a nifty finishing dunk.

The Red team jumped out to an early lead behind some early offense from sophomore Dusan Ristic. The center scored six of his team's first eight points of the game behind a plethora of post buckets. Ristic and Allonzo Trier spearheaded the early offense for Red before finishing with 14 points and nine points respectively.

The duo was bolstered by the dunk champion Mark Tollefsen. The transfer from San Francisco had an efficient 13 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals while not missing a shot from the field in five attempts.

The Ring of Honor at the McKale picked up two additions at halftime of the scrimmage. Former Wildcats Channing Frye and Stanley Johnson were inducted with former coach Lute Olson on hand.

The Blue team was led another fresh face in senior forward Ryan Anderson. Anderson finished with a game-high 15 points and 8 rebounds. He did most of his scoring damage at the free throw line we he converted on seven of his eight attempts.

Senior Gabe York joined Anderson in double-digit scoring with ten points for Blue while grabbing three rebounds.
