Karl Joseph may not be available in uniform for the Mountaineers going forward, but he's still as passionate about West Virginia football as ever.

Joseph wore a headset and was actively involved in coaching up his teammates during the Oklahoma State game. Don't expect that to change any time soon.

"That's the kind of kid he is," WVU coach Dana Holgorsen said Monday on the Big 12 conference call. "He's going to stay here and graduate. He wants to be around, wants to be on the sideline and at practice and in meetings and continue to stay involved. He's the leader and captain of this entire team."

It has to be tough for Joseph to see his team go against the likes of Baylor and TCU, knowing he could help make an impact. But he'll have to make that impact from the sidelines.
