St. Louis Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt missed practice for a second straight day due to an ailing shoulder.

Britt, who is tied with tight end Jared Cook with a team-high 11 catches and leads the Rams with 183 yards receiving, banged his shoulder in Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, coach Jeff Fisher said per the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Linebacker James Laurinaitis also missed practice for a second straight day but his absence was not listed as injury-related.

St. Louis is already thin at wideout with Brian Quick inactive for the first three games. Quick suffered a major shoulder injury last season but has not been on the injury list.

Britt is coming off a big game in the 12-6 loss to the Steelers, hauling in seven receptions for 102 yards. It was his third 100-yard game since joining the Rams prior to last season.
