The Cavaliers have two big men on the team who were eligible to play for Russia at EuroBasket this summer, but neither ended up on the team's final roster.

Timofey Mozgov underwent arthroscopic knee surgery back in July, so he was unavailable, and Sasha Kaun, whom the team recently signed, simply skipped it to avoid risking any injury.

This is good news for the Cavaliers, obviously, because you don't want to put unnecessary wear and tear on your players when a run at a title is the plan for the upcoming season. The news is less than stellar for the Russian squad, however, who will be hard-pressed to qualify for the Olympics given the lack of NBA-level talent on the roster.
