Barcelona sends reserve player Adama Traore to Aston Villa

BARCELONA, Spain (AP) Barcelona has agreed to send reserve team player Adama Traore to English club Aston Villa.

The European champions say Aston Villa will pay 10 million euros ($11.1 million) plus a possible 2 million euros more ''if certain conditions are met.''

Barcelona also says the transfer contract includes a buyback option and a clause that allows the Catalan club to match any future transfer of the player.

The 19-year-old Traore was one of Barcelona's most promising young players. He played 63 games for the reserve team and made four appearances with the first squad.
