Sage Karam has won his first career Indy Lights race.

Karam started from the pole at the Milwaukee Mile in Saturday's race but was passed by Zach Veach in Turn 1. Veach led the first 56 laps before Karam reclaimed the lead with a pass on the inside of Turns 1 and 2.

Karam then pulled away and beat Carlos Munoz by 1.0808 seconds to the finish line.

Munoz was second in his first race since finishing second in last month's Indianapolis 500.

Veach wound up third.
