Brey focusing on his attitude heading into NCAA to make sure Irish play loose vs. Iowa State

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Notre Dame coach Mike Brey is going into the NCAA tournament with a new attitude. Sort of.

Brey is known as a player's coach who encourages his players to enjoy playing and to go for it. He says he's not sure that's always the attitude he's taken into the NCAA tournament, saying he may have been a little on edge last year when the Irish squandered a 10-point lead in a first-round loss to Xavier.

Brey says he is focused on being loose to make sure the Irish are loose as they prepare to face 10th-seeded Iowa State in Dayton, Ohio, on Friday,

Brey says he thinks the Irish are found another gear offensively in the Big East tournament.
