Pitt freshman swingman Durand Johnson says there were no magical words from coach Jamie Dixon before Tuesday night's 28-point romp over Georgetown.

Johnson says the Panthers (13-3, 1-2 Big East) were simply sick of losing. Pitt dominated the 19th-ranked Hoyas for 40 minutes in easily their most complete game of the season. Dixon says he believes his team can use it as a momentum builder heading into Saturday's game against Marquette (11-3, 2-0).

While Dixon traditionally spends the team's film session pointing out miscues, he says he spent most of the session following the win over the Hoyas looking at what Pitt did well. The coach said he's using it as positive reinforcement and proof that the Panthers are learning from their mistakes.
