Waltiea Rolle scored 19 points and Megan Buckland 17 as No. 25 North Carolina dominated UNC Asheville 101-42 Sunday.

The Tar Heels (6-0) led 51-29 at halftime and their margin ballooned in the second, when the Bulldogs (1-4) made just 4 of 36 shots from the field. North Carolina shot 58.8 percent (20 of 34) in the second half.

North Carolina scored the first 17 points of the half, a day after starting the second half 16-0 in an 85-55 victory over La Salle. UNC Asheville didn't get its first second-half point until a Kelli Riles free throw with 11:59 left.

Xylina McDaniel added 11 points and Tierra Ruffin-Pratt 10 for North Carolina, whose victory margin was its largest since beating Gardner-Webb 109-44 in its opener last season.

Gentry Manley scored 12 points and Shonese Jones 11 for UNC Asheville. Jones shot 3 of 22 from the field.
